Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has been out for over a month now, and fans have truly fallen in love with the game’s rich story, deep characters, and fantastic world that has been open to all since they played it. The title is easily one of the best the Nintendo Switch has to offer, and fans can’t wait to get more of it. In fact, the title promised a lot of DLC for fans to enjoy, and now, we have the first info on the second DLC wave, which will include a new character for you to bring into your party via the mechanical hero Ino!
Yes, it’s true, you’ll get a new Hero Quest to do that involves a character that is indeed mechanical, and acts like it–she’ll be drinking Ether just because she can. Clearly, this is going to be another character that’ll be a handful, but you can take care of her, right? But fear not, that isn’t the only thing coming to this second wave of DLC.
There will also be challenge modes. In this new mode, you’ll be able to go and take on wave after wave of enemies. It’ll be challenging, hence the name of the mode, but if you’re able to do it, you’ll get special rewards. If you’re able to beat it at some of the highest levels, you’ll get access to items beyond what you’d be able to get in the base game, including some summer swim attire for your whole party to wear. Which we’re sure some of you won’t be able to pass up.
The second wave of DLC will arrive on October 13! You can check out the reveal trailer with the details below.
They also teased what’ll come for the third DLC pack, which will indeed include a new Hero and more additions that’ll surely flesh out the main game.
The irony here is that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is already a really robust title. It’s one that can take you about 60 hours to play through, and that’s just if you rush through the storyline and only do some of the side quests and hero quests. With the addition of this DLC and the ones to come, the title will become even more robust than before and you can bet that gamers will love every bit of it.
Plus, it’s been teased in the past that the final DLC pack will be a story addition to the title itself. If you recall such an expansion in the past title with Torna The Golden Country, was basically its own game in and of itself.
So make sure you explore all this game has to offer and then get the DLC to be offered even more!
