If you're planning to get Assassin's Creed Revelations on PS3, prepare yourself for the 3.8GB mandatory installation that will be forced on you the first time you place the disk in the drive. That's a pretty big installation and has the potential of knocking that new-game glow quite quickly.
Previous games in the series have had installations, Brotherhood weighing in at around the same size, so its fair to presume there'll be quite a lot happening on the streets of Constantinople. Multiplayer modes, on top of having a brief Santa cameo, are also looking like they could be an interesting time sink.
Revelations will give the player the oppurtunity to play as Altair, Ezio and Desmond and will be in the hands of American audiences in less than a week.
