The UK launch of Modern Warfare 3 in London will be streamed via Youtube for anybody not insane enough to stand in a queue of people who've been waiting since this time last year to get their hands on the next Call of Duty. The press release promises celebrity interviews, footage from the European tournament, interviews with developers and a look at some of the midnight launches around the capital.
You'll be able to watch it from here.
I'm looking into getting to a midnight launch myself, so if tomorrow ends up being a slow news day, you know why. 12 AM, the internet goes quiet as every person who's ever critisized the series heads out and buys MW3. 12.04 AM, everybody who bought a new copy comes back on the internet and complains that it's all the same except for the things that have changed, which they don't like. 12.05 AM, the wait for Black Ops 2 begins.
Thanks to the split-screen, I know I'm going to spend an awful lot of time in this game and I couldn't be happier. A lot of the new features, levelling guns for example, are going to keep me going for long enough that the day one price seems like a steal.
13 and a half hours to go, folks.
