AMD has a slate of new hardware on the way in the form of new processors and motherboards for 2016.
The company revealed that it has three new processors on the way: the A10-7860K, the A6-7470K, and the Athlon X4 845. Of the three, the A10 is their most powerful processor yet, offering four powerful cores that run at 4.0/3.6GHz boost/base. The processor is also equipped with eight GPU cores that run at 757MHz. It uses only 65W for power, down from the 95W rating on the currently available A10-7850K.

These three processors will predate the upcoming Zen architecture, which is set to come out later in 2016.
The company also revealed that they’ve been partnering up with manufacturers like ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI and Asrock to produce AM3+ / FMS2+ motherboards to support new USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type A and C technology, which offers 10Gbps bandwidth.
In addition, AMD has announced some details about the new Wraith cooler, which is set to replace the stock cooler. It’ll show up on the FX8370, as well as the upcoming A10-7860K and Athlon X4 845. Select preexisting CPUs will also sport the new cooler, with similar pricing to current versions.
