The reveal of Final Fantasy XV’s release date right around the corner. Yes, you read that correctly: Square Enix is making announcements to an announcement.
Today, the publisher revealed that the event will be called Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV, along with details on when and where it will take place. Square Enix disclosed that the event will be held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on March 30 at 7:00pm PDT. The event will be hosted by KindaFunnyGames and former IGN video personality Greg Miller and Tim Gettys. The event is expected to tell us everything we need to know about the game, such as when it will actually come out this year.
Square Enix says that they plan to make some announcements at the event in addition to revealing the game’s release date and that there will be a few surprises along the way for fans of the franchise.
Anyone interested in going can reserve a spot for the event the official website, where you’ll find out exactly what I just wrote. RSVPs open on February 5 at 4:00pm PST. If you’re unable to attend, you can catch the show on YouTube and Twitch.
You’ll need to be a United States resident to attend, unfortunately–so don’t bother with saving up for a plane ticket if you live outside the country. The company says that fans can look forward to future events beyond this one that will take place in various regions leading up to the game’s release.
In addition to the news, Square Enix has released three new screenshots of the game, which you can check out below.
