Nintendo shared a new timetable for upcoming game releases for Wii U and 3DS, and Zelda Wii U seems still slated for a 2016 release.
Last we heard, Zelda Wii U was undated, as Nintendo’s Zelda team seemed to have run into setbacks making the game, specifically at the scale they wanted, but whatever issues there were may have been resolved. Similarly, Star Fox Zero seems safely set to come out this coming April.
More interesting may be Project Guard now going undated. It would not be impossible that Nintendo has simply prioritized other projects more, and the impetus to get games like Zelda Wii U and Star Fox Zero released sooner.
Meanwhile, the 3DS is filled with releases, particularly for the 1st quarter of this year. 3DS owners also have Dragon Quest VII and VIII and Metroid Prime Federation Force to look forward to later this year as well.
