Ah, the prank phone call: a relic of a bygone era of harmless mischief. These days if folks get your number, they’ll just SWAT your apartment and call it good. But the prank phone call? That was the original trolling, and YouTube user ICEnJAM is bringing back on his hilarious channel.
In the above video, audio is taken from the opening scene of Fallout 4, where the Vault-Tec rep approaches the Sole Survivor’s home and launches into a sales pitch for the nearby Vault 111. The rep’s cold call dialogue fits perfectly with a telemarketing call, leaving the recipient of the call hooked, but also very confused.
ICEnJAM has many other prank call videos using voice and audio clips from a wide array of video games, including several with Fallout characters like Colonel Autumn, Gary, Butch DeLoria, and Bryan Wilks from Fallout 3, and Mr. House from Fallout: New Vegas. They also do some Skyrim videos, including a few featuring Brynjolf, Paarthurnax, and Cicero. One video even pits The Thalmor from Skyrim and the Boxcar from Fallout: New Vegas against the KKK. Other audio hijinks include The Adoring Fan from Oblivion playing Call of Duty. Perhaps my favorite though is Sheogorath ordering a pizza, ’cause you just know that would go down as one of the most entertaining conversations of all time:
