Hogwarts Legacy has been one of the most highly anticipated games since its initial leak in 2018. That changed on August 12, 2022. After a period of silence, Hogwarts Legacy finally had an update that pushed the game to 2023. As it stands right now, the upcoming title release is now slated to launch on February 10, 2023. Fortunately, for fans who have been waiting on this game, it doesn’t appear to be too far out from their initial late 2022 launch window.
The reasoning behind the game being pushed back was to allow the studio more time to further polish. Developers are hopeful to bring out an experience that will please fans who’ve been waiting on Hogwarts Legacy since its initial reveal. For now we at least know when to mark our calendars for when we’re able to dive into this thrilling new game set within the Harry Potter universe.
