Battlefield 3’s Multiplayer Trailer is Highly Explosive

October 19, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

This video of Battlefield 3 is the best thing you’ll see today.

DICE has put out a new video of Battlefield 3 ahead of the game’s release next week. Detailing nothing but the game’s multiplayer mode, the trailer shows off the vast locations in which the game’s battles take place.

The trailer contains explosive action sequences from the perspective of soldiers on the ground, tanks, airplanes, helicopters and boats in a variety of environments. Assaulting players take off from naval carriers while defenders hold down defensive embankments with a variety of weapons at their disposal. Bullets fly, buildings fall, vehicles explode, and airplanes scream across the skies.

It’s seriously one of the best videos of the game to date.

Multiplayer in Battlefield 3 supports up to 64 players in the PC version, with 32 players on each side.

Battlefield 3 is set for release next Tuesday on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
