Fans of the Sucker Punch game will be buzzing with excitement for this one, or even if you want to try something new because the Infamous Second Son DLC called Cole’s Legacy, has been made free to purchase on the PlayStation Store.
At first, this DLC was only made available through a pre-order incentive for the game or by buying a special edition of the game. Infamous Second Son has just been added to Sony’s new and improved PS Plus service, which means players will have the chance to experience the game and then pop on over to the story and access the DLC as well – the full package if you like.
For those that don’t know what the Cole’s Legacy DLC is all about, it takes place between Infamous 2 and Second Son, with the latter’s protagonist, Delsin Rowe investigating the aftermath of Cole McGrath’s actions in the city of New Marais.
You know how we said that the DLC is free? Well, it is (honestly), however, it’s only free in certain countries, whereas a small fee is required for others due to local restrictions, so you will need to check out the details where you’re from and then rage if yours is the latter.
This isn’t the only news coming out of Sucker Punch though because the developer has said that they are aiming to release the DUP outfit for Fetch for the spin-off game, Infamous First Light. Sucker Punch also wanted to make it known that the maintenance taking place for the Infamous 2 UGC servers has now been completed.
And finally, Sucker Punch wanted to reiterate that due to the success of games like Ghost of Tsushima, it will not be planning to return to the Infamous series, or the Sly Cooper one for that matter either. We can’t always bring you positive news, you know.
