Electronic Arts has confirmed releases for the following year, including Mass Effect and a new Titanfall game.
EA confirmed that their partnership with Respawn Entertainment is still active, and that they will be releasing “a new Titanfall experience” by the end of fiscal year 2017, which is actually March 31 2017.
To be clear, we already know a Titanfall game for mobile is in development, with Respawn partnering with Nexon. Respawn explained in that announcement that they expect to release it within this year. EA’s obtuse wording makes it possible that they also have a hand in this mobile game, and this is in fact the title they are referring to.
EA also confirmed a new Battlefield title coming in the next fiscal year, which may or may not mean this holiday, or within the first three months of 2017.
As for Mass Effect, EA confirmed a new game in the franchise will be releasing in the second half of 2016. This can only be Mass Effect Andromeda, which we know has been in development for a few years now and should be ready to release by then.
