Rockstar Games has just released a new set of content for GTA Online, the online service for Grand Theft Auto V, in the form of a new multiplayer mode.
It's called DropZone, an Adversary Mode that has four teams of 16 paratroopers jumping out of helicopters (Cargobobs) and racing back to control a piece of territory. It's a King of the Hill style mode where players must control the land for 2 minutes and defend it from opposing players.
"No man is an island here – players will need to attack and defend as a unit," says the studio.
In total, there are five DropZone maps, each requiring a unique approach with differences in elevation and terrain.
In addition to the new mode, Rockstar has released two new sports cars: the Karin Sultan and the Bravado Banshee. They're available for customization at Benny's Original Customs.
To celebrate the new content release, Rockstar has announced a double RP weekend playlist. The studio has plans to release even more items next month.
