Stardock finally announced the new Galactic Civilizations III expansion today. Mercenaries is in development and will launch in February.
There are a few noteworthy additions in Mercenaries:
- New campaign
- New races
- Ability to recruit elite units with special abilities
- New Intergalactic Bazaars to visit
- Two new factions: Arceans and Torians
Mercenaries will come with a free update to Galactic Civilizations III that includes general game improvements. The expansion is available starting February 18.
