The Strong Museum is Accepting Public Nominations for the Video Game Hall of Fame

January 27, 2016 by Stephen Daly

Will your choice join Pong, Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros., Tetris, Doom, and World of Warcraft?

The Strong Museum of Play's World Video Games Hall of Fame is currently accepting public submissions for new entries.

Your nomination could join the likes of Pong, Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros., Tetris, Doom, and World of Warcraft which are already represented there.

The closing date for submissions is February 29th with finalists being announced on March 29th. The inductees will be announced at a special ceremony on May 5th.

The Strong Museum announced the creation of the Hall of Fame almost a year ago. “There is no other video game award and recognition program such as this, which focuses solely on individual game titles across platforms and their impact over time and across international borders,” G. Rollie Adams, president and CEO of The Strong, said at the time.
