The Angry Birds Movie Trailer Reminds Us that The Angry Birds Movie is Still a Thing

A new trailer has been released for The Angry Birds Movie, which if nothing else reminds us that the project is still going ahead. 

The deal between Sony and Rovio was made back in May 2013 when Angry Birds was much bigger than it is today. That being said, 20 million people did download Angry Birds 2 when it was released last year so the franchise still has its fans. 

Hundreds of Rovio developers have been let go over the last two years with the company's profits collapsing as it closed Tampere, Finland studio. 

The Angry Birds Movie arrives in cinemas in May.
