Focus Home Interactive has announced that Battlefleet Gothic: Armada pre-orders are now open and has revealed the game's narrative trailer.
Set in Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 universe, the game is a RTS title with a grand solo campaign in which players will fight through the battles of the 12th Black Crusade of Abaddon.
Events of the story can be driven by the success or failure of missions as new threats including Eldar corsairs and Ork pirates reveal themselves even as Chaos forces attack Imperial worlds and your allies beg for aid. Focus Home says many of these events can happen at the same time, keeping you on your toes and forcing you to make difficult decisions about how to use your resources.
Players who pre-order the game and those who purchase during the first months of availability will gain accesss to the early adopter perk of the Space Marine faction. The Space Marines can be used in both multiplayer modes and in skirmish against the AI. Those who pre-order will be able to access the game's multiplayer beta a few weeks before the game's launch.
Games Workshop is also hosting a sale on Steam until Friday, with pre-orders for Battlefleet Gothic: Armada (10% off) and sales of Blood Bowl 2 (50% off) and Mordheim: City of the Damned (40% off) included.
