Street Fighter V Beta Seemingly Live Unscheduled

January 19, 2016 by Ryan Parreno

It’s well past the beta phase, so maybe this was just for the fans.

Without warning, Capcom has brought up the Street Fighter V beta for PlayStation 4 and PC.

It’s not clear if the beta was put up on a lark or for an emergency tech check, as they state. Street Fighter V is done with the beta phase and is well on its way to release later this year.

As a seeming nod to the recent WWE Royal Rumble, the only playable characters are the grapplers. Namely, these are Birdie, Zangief, Rainbow Mika, and Laura.

There’s no word on when the beta will end either, so if you want to get a taste of Street Fighter V again, log on to your PC or PlayStation 4 and check it out now.
