Activision has revealed the COD franchise has now sold 250 million units to date.
This is thanks to sales of Call of Duty Black Ops 3. Activision has yet to confirm actual sales numbers for Black Ops 3, but they did claim it was the top selling game of 2015 around the world. They also cite NPD to call it the top selling franchise in the US for the seventh year running.

Activision also took the time to tease the 1st DLC pack Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Awakening. It will have a new chapter in the Zombies Saga, Der Eisdenrache, and four multiplayer maps, Gauntlet, Splash, Rise, and Skyjacked.Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Awakening will be released on February 2 on PlayStation 4.
