Riot Games gave everyone a good look at the newest League of Legends champion for 2016, Jhin. The company’s post says that the character is one of the game’s slowest marksmen to date. The hero, dubbed nicknamed "the virtuoso," is meant to have cerebral and “artistic” playstyle/aesthetic (via PC Gamer).
Gameplay wise, this means that Jhin attacks in a set of four weak shots, where critical hits deal less damage than normal, and attack speed doesn’t scale properly. On the upside, the hero gains attack damagae when he gets speed and crit from items and runes. Additionally, the fourth shot in each set is always a critical, and deals additional damage based on the target’s lack of health.
His ultimate, Curtain Call, is a super-powerful version of his basic attack, with four massive shots finishing in a big critical hit. Some of the players who’ve already commented on Jhin’s abilities say it seems he may be a solid hero, they worry that he isn’t distinct enough from other marksmen.
