Atlus, the publisher of many Japanese video games, has just announced that it has big plans for game releases in 2016. The company plans to bring some new and unannounced Japanese games to the US and Europe starting with Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir.
Atlus CEO Naoto Hiraoka told Famitsu (via Gematsu) that the company will follow it up by releasing Persona 5 in the summer.
"In the summer, we’ll launch the long-awaited Persona 5," he said (via Gematsu). "Of course, in addition to that we have several unannounced titles."
Hiraoka is confident that 2016 will be a big year for Atlus.
"I have no doubt this will be a year Atlus' popular series all gather together," he said.
Atlus's titles will be released on both the PS3 and PS4. We'll cover them as Atlus gives us the word on what those games actually are.
