Hive division, an Italian independent video production studio, has launched a Rainbow Six shor live action movie in collaboration with Ubisoft. The film, titled Rainbow Six: Real Life, is based on Rainbow Six Siege, the most recent title.
The film features well-known YouTubers from Melagoodo and Smiles Makers crews, who received special military training from The Guardians worldwide, a group of highly trained professionals working in private and military security.
There’s also a backstage video by Hive Division, along with a few vlogs from the YouTubers involved in the project, allowing insight into how the trailer was produced. There’s also looks at the artistic and technical solutions used to produce the same look and feel of Rainbow Six Siege in the film.
Hive Division is most famously known by producing the renowned Metal Gear fan project Philanthropy, a video that racked up more than 3.5 million views. The studio took that experience and turned it into Rainbow Six: Real Life, and plans to build upon both movies as they work on more live action, “guerrilla style” productions based on videogames.
We’ve recently learned that Rainbow Six Siege’s first expansion would be delayed.
