Strangely, Yuji Horii had little to share about Dragon Quest XI in the Dragon Quest 30th anniversary stream, but we did get a few choice tidbits.
According to Horii, the story for Dragon Quest XI has been completed. The Dragon Quest team is aiming to finish and release in time for the franchise’s anniversary. They’re giving themselves leeway, so that starts from the actual release date of the original game, May 27, 2016, all the way to May 27, 2017.
