Tim Schafer has shared the plot for upcoming platformerPsychonauts 2.
Here’s the gist of Raz’s next big adventure:
Schafer also commented that he had been prototyping the idea of a sequel for many years, in fact, since the first Psychonauts was released. In fact, he had a working document filled with ideas, that’s had ideas coming in and out as he kept going.
Apparently, it hasn’t been shaped down to the last details, but Schafer already has a rough story figured out, as well as new game mechanics. He’s also already decided on the engine they’ll be using, Unreal.
Psychonauts 2 was successfully funded on Fig last week to the tune of over $ 3.3 million. It is planned for release in Fall 2018 on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
