Everything We Know About Destiny’s Next Event

January 11, 2016 by Olga Lexell

Speculation aplenty.

Since Bungie’s update last month, Destiny players have been anticipating more details on the game events that will supposedly take place in January and February. Bungie recently sent out an email that may provide some clues.

The Bungie Weekly Update will return on 1/21. Not a major reveal, but a preview of our February Update. More to come…

— Bungie (@Bungie) January 7, 2016

While the company confirmed in a tweet that the January 21 weekly update would not be a major reveal, they did promise a preview of what the February update will entail. An email from Bungie vaguely referred to the “days of the Dawning,” which has led players to suspect that the February event will be called The Dawning. The Destiny database also recently added eight new items that look like letters and allude to The Dawning as well. Could these letters possibly represent the missing exotics?

Check out the below video if you like speculation.
