Bungie is releasing a slate of gifts for the new year.
Any player who logs into Destiny from now until January 10 will receive a small package of 15 Strange Coins, 15 Motes of Light, and a mystery emblem that will only be available to players who log on during this period.
Bungie says it's doing this to reward its awesome playerbase.
Anyone who logs on should get the items today, although some players may experience a delay in receiving the item at the Postmaster in the Tower. Just make sure you have enough room to accept the gifts in your inventory.
The mystery emblem will be rewarded to players on January 12, so don't panic if all you receive are Motes and Coins.
In addition to the free gifts, Bungie will be making details about its first weekly update of the year available later today.
