Minecraft continues to be a reliable income source for Microsoft following its acquisition of Mojang, with the PC and Mac version of the game selling more than 22 million units to date.
While you'd be forgiven for thinking everyone who wants it has bought the game by now, the official stats page says almost 13,000 people have purchased Minecraft on those platforms in the last 24 hours alone.
At the time of publication 22,075,637 people have bought the game, with 12,778 sales occuring during the last day.
Minecraft is also available on mobile devices and consoles, it recently launched for Wii U. Given the huge number of mods and add-ons for the game it isn't too surprising the PC version remains one of the most popular.
