Despite examining these screens for some minutes, I'm still not sure what the game will have us doing. Perhaps it's just an online version of The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield. Sure, you'll have minor interactions with the cast, but its mainly sight-seeing and the occasional line from the show.
It's difficult to imagine it being much more than that, considering the source material, but a deep MMO based in Quahog would be an unusual thing indeed. Did somebody say WOW-killer?
It must be said that the graphics are far better than the last family guy game, borrowing somewhat from the open world adventures we've seen set in Springfield. It suffers from the same strange over use of space as the Simpson's game does as well, just look at the distance between the bed and the TV.
Other than the fact that there is currently a closed beta taking place, there is absolutely nothing known about Family Guy Online – it exists, it's looking as pretty as a game based on Family guy could, and that's it.
