Both Steam and the PlayStation Network have had their troubles on Christmas, and Xbox Live was no exception. As spotted by Gamespot, the Xbox Live status page said yesterday that there were purchase and content usage problems affecting buying downlodable games across all platforms, Which include Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows 10.
"We are working with our engineers to get this fixed right away!" Microsoft said. "Thank you for your patience." The Xbox Support Twitter then added that they were “currently working on issues w/managing billing/subscriptions & other account settings.”

All of the Xbox Live “core services” were functioning fine. Later in the day, Microsoft updated the Xbox Live status page to reflect the fixes that had been made, showing that all parts of the service were running smoothly.
