As with the anime and manga series, the upcoming fighting game features a bizarre and eclectic mix of characters, who come together to do battle on the PlayStation 4.
Developed by the Japanese studio renown for their video game adaptations of Naruto Shippuden and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle, CyberConnect2, the upcoming game will be released in North America. The game has not yet been dated.
It's designed as a stylish two-versus-two 3D action brawler featuring characters from all arcs of the anime and manga series. It also features a brand new original story supervised by Hirohiko Araki, the creator of the original manga.
“BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment is home to an illustrious roster of fighting games and we’re proud to work with CyberConnect2 to bring the next JoJo’s fighting game to fans in the Americas,” said Eric Hartness Vice President of Marketing at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is one of the most influential manga of all time, touching everything from comics, video games, television and movies.
