There's a new update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, an upcoming role-playing game set in medieval Europe.
The developers released a new dev diary showcasing the game's crime and karma system, two newly introduced elements that will enable more immersive role-playing. Players will be able to go completely off the rails by playing as a murderer, but there will be consequences to their actions thanks to the systems in place.

The studio also revealed that players will be able to adopt a dog companion, kind of like Dogmeat, that's modeled after an extinct breed of canine that was present in the region in the Middle Ages. The dog itself is modeled after lead developer Daniel Vavra's own dog.
A beta version fo the game is expected to come out in early 2016.
