World of Tanks is getting an all new tech tree.
Update 9.13 adds the new Czechoslovakian Tech Tree for World of Tanks, rolling out with new light and medium vehicles. Players in these highly mobile vehicles will be able to run rings around slower, heavier units.
At the top of the Tech Tree are the Tier 9 and 10 Skoda TVP tanks, which are said to boast great accuracy, range, and stabilization. They are joined by the Tier 7 Konstrukta T-34/100, an upgraded version of the Soviet T-34 workhorse with better weapons.
“With a rich and interesting tank-building history, World of Tanks could not pass up the opportunity to include these dynamic Czechoslovakian tanks into the game,” said Sergey Laptenok, Publishing Product Director, World of Tanks. “These vehicles, with a number of great features like maneuverability and autoloading guns, create an experience that players don’t want to miss out on.”
The update also adds a new map called Pilsen, inspired by Czechoslovakian environments, which is set to feature in both Rampage and Random battles. The map is based on an actual Skoda tank factory in Pilsen, and sees players prowl around in close quarters within large, but enclosed buildings.
World of Tanks is free to play on the PC and is also available on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Check it out here.
