Word on the street is Nintendo published a very low number of copies of Devil’s Third at retail. If this is true, this is a serious disservice made to their own fans.
Destructoid reports that GameStop only has 420 copies of Devil’s Third available for sale via their online store. While this does not represent all retailers, it does imply Nintendo didn’t plan to ship many copies of the game at all.
its official GOTY2015 , for the people who are hating on this game just sell it hell il gladly buy everyone's copy since it has no value to you

As fans are posting on Itagaki’s own Facebook page, this has led to scalpers putting their copies of the game up at exorbitant prices. Unless Nintendo commits to printing more copies, some fans may goi ahead and buy these overpriced copies.
While Devil’s Third has received poor critical reception, Nintendo may have done fans a disservice if they really did a low print run for the game. Good or bad, there were players who still wanted the game for their collection. Digital, of course, remains an option, but even then, there will be fans who want the game enough that they will deal with scalpers, and these are the gamers Nintendo have done a disservice too.
