Among the Sleep (PS4) – You play as a small child navigating a terrifying childhood bedroom. This looks like a lot of fun though it's definitely the off-season for horror games. Among the Sleep has been written about for a few years now because it was already released for PC, but this PS4 version has been in the works for a while after a successful Kickstarter campaign. The best part is it's the latest horror game to be VR compatible.
Bombing Busters (PS Vita) – “Have a blast! Bomb oodles of nasty critters in a series of 30 wicked mazes. Defeat hellish bosses in heroic fights! Embark on a hilarious journey with the witty Dr. Wallow to conquer the galaxy in this explosively fun arcade game!”
Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space (PS Vita) – it’s basically a remake of everyone’s favorite EDF, but it’s supposed to be the best one.
Guns, Gore, & Cannoli (PS4) – it’s basically a Godfather-inspired mafia RPG except – and wait for it – there are zombies involved. I really hope this game is as good as I want it to be.
