Good news for gamers and baseball fans: MLB The Show 16 is coming to PS3 and PS4 on March 29. Fans who attended PlayStation Experience this weekend got a first look at the game, including its new ShowTime feature, which allows you to slow down the game during critical moments.
The Show comes with some updates. “You’ll be able to make diving plays, react at the hot corner, and step up for a clutch at bat with finer and more focused control,” writes SCEA community manager Ramone Russell. Additionally, there’s a new training system that allows you to unlock Gameplay Perks as you progress through Road To The Show (but that’s only for PS4).
Pre-orders are live, so if this is a game you want, you better get it now because players who pre-order will get 10 bonus standard-item packs and a MLB The Show Player Rep Rookie Card when they pick up or download the game. GameStop also has an offer for pre-orders: players will receive five bonus item packs. If you pre-order on the PS Store, you’ll still get three exclusive MLB The Show-themed PS4 avatars (in addition to the 10 item packs and rookie card).
