Ubisoft has released a new update for Assassin's Creed Syndicate, bringing the game up to version 1.2 on consoles and 1.21 on the PC.
The patch is designed to address performance and stability issues, many of which have been affecting the PC version of the game. Players on mid-range, rather than top-of-the-line, computers will receive most of the benefits in the update. The game has some fairly steep requirements that even the beefiest machines will have trouble running the game at a decent framerate.

According to the patch notes, the update fixes a number of geometry and clipping-related issues, so players won't find Evie or Jacob falling through holes in the ground, and they'll clip through surfaces a lot less often.
The patch also adds improved reactions to allies and NPCs, offering better navigation and fixing popping issues.

Patch 1.21 weighs in at 700-750mb on Xbox One and PS4, and 440-510mb on PC. It should download automatically depending on platform.
