Have you been eagerly waiting for Warhammer 40,000 Eternal Crusade? Behaviour Interactive has a treat for you.
They have shared new footage from the closed alpha, featuring the multiple factions taking each other on in Alpha Promethium. As of right now, things look promising. At its current state, it does not look like it makes use of the full abilities of the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, but it does look great.
The trailer also appears to be a mix of cinematic cutscenes and actual action. For better or worse, the two are indistinguishable from each other. Again, and of course, this graphical quality may change for the final product.
For what it’s worth, it’s also not too graphically impressive in its current state, but it does bear a resemblance to the wargaming miniatures it takes inspiration from, so there is that.
As of right now, Warhammer 40,000 Eternal Crusade is getting tested for its gameplay systems, with progression and persistent world systems coming later.
Warhammer 40,000 Eternal Crusade is in development for Windows, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You can purchase a Founder’s Pack to jump into the closed alpha here.
