The Pokemon franchise has staying power. Something special has kept it going over the past few decades life, with the TV and movie adaptations of the video games up there as top-tier. The main anime has been going on for decades and has gotten many spinoffs and tie-ins. As for the movies, they’ve been going on since Pokemon: The First Movie released in 1998, and more recently with Secrets Of The Jungle. Each of the movies mainly focuses on legendary Pokemon, giving them a premium feel.
