Telltale has confirmed that a second season of Game of Thrones is in development.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, studio CEO and co-founder Kevin Bruner said the game's story was always planned with a second season in mind.
Following the launch of Episode 6 of Season One, The Ice Dragon, earlier this week Bruner commented, "I'm pleased to officially confirm that there will be a second season of Telltale's Game of Thrones series."
It should be noted that the interview contains numerous spoilers about Season One.
"It's currently in development," he added.
While many feel the conclusion to the first season was unsatisfying given the number of cliffhangers and general lack of resolution, Bruner noted that your choices will feature prominently in Season Two.
"The questions left on the table at the conclusion of season one, who survived and who didn't, as well as all the other choices you made play a huge role in the second season," he continued. "We've been planning the second season all along, but I really shouldn't be revealing more than that."
Telltale has not yet announced when players can get their hands on Season Two but it will likely start in late 2016.
