Star Wars Battlefront Review Roundup

November 17, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

It’s every bit a love letter for fans, but won’t satisfy gamers who expect more.

This is a review roundup for Star Wars Battlefront.

Overall, Star Wars Battlefront has received a mixed critical reception, and the Star Wars license may not be enough to guarantee sales. While we have known for months that EA DICE have recreated the universe as closely as possible, more critical reviewers point to the meagre content, the lack of innovation, and lack of depth.

EA DICE also fell halfway in recreating certain aspects of the original games, breaking away from modern shooter conventions, but not bringing back the space wars. If you’re a Star Wars fan, you may be satisfied enough, but other shooters won’t be neglected this holiday.
