It’s honestly rather exciting when a show comes out of nowhere and astounds you with its cast, story, and setting. Only Murders In The Building on Hulu was that last year. Merging an all-star cast together via Martin Short, Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, Nathan Lane, Sting (the musician, not the wrestler) and more, the show wowed a lot of people and thus they wanted to see more. Especially after the cliffhanger that was dropped at the end. And they don’t have to wait too long as Only Murders In The Building Season 2 arrives on Hulu on June 28th.
And today, we got a full-on trailer for the season! It reiterates how the trio of “heroes” have now been framed for murder, and now they must uncover the truth, all the while, not being arrested (again) and not losing their roles as True Crime Podcasters.
As the trailer showcases, there’s a LOT that’s going to be going on in this new season, as each of the trio are going to be put through the ringer in one form or another and have to work together more than ever before in order to find out the truth. Even if that means digging deeper into their home’s origin, and dealing with people that were very much their enemies in season 1.
All in all, Only Murders In The Building Season 2 is shaping up to be just as good as the original. Here’s the synopsis for Season 2:
“Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, Charles, Oliver & Mabel race to unmask her killer. However, three (unfortunate) complications ensue — the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny’s homicide, they are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with a bunch of New York neighbors who all think they committed murder.”
