Assassin’s Creed Celebrates 15th Anniversary

Ubisoft has announced a month-long celebration of the Assassin’s Creed franchise for its 15th anniversary. This includes a chance to win goodies, community spotlights, and announcements for multiple titles.

Originally releasing in November of 2007, the original game has gone on to spawn multiple installments and create a shared universe between the titles. Impressively, over 20 games have been released in the franchise in these short 15 years.

The 15th anniversary site runs down the sort of goodies and events fans can expect. Fans can answer questions about the franchise to enter a raffle to win a wide range of prizes. New goodies will be sent out every week and each week users can enter the raffle again. The greater your performance, the more chances to win!

But most interestingly, Ubisoft has released a roadmap for their celebrations. We still aren’t sure what these could be, updates for the games? New merch? DLC? Games on the roadmap go all the way back to the original game.

Regardless, fans can expect announcements all the way through September. While Assassin’s Creed may lack the years behind retro franchises, few can deny the importance of these game’s for Ubisoft as a company.
