The Division Allows Players to Create Four Characters on One Account

November 13, 2015 by Stephen Daly

You’ll be able to jump instantly from one to another from the main menu.

Ubisoft has announced that players will be able to create up to four characters on one account in The Division.

Players will be able to choose which character they want to play as and jump instantly between them from the main menu, in a similar fashion to Destiny.

"You can have more than one character in The Division," associate lead UI artist Lars Vincent explained in a new community Q&A video which you can see below. "You can have up to four characters running at the same time. You just have to choose in the start menu which one you want and go with that.

"It's pretty cool because you can play with your friends at different levels at different times. So if one of my friends starts playing The Division I can join him, I can create a new character, help him out, I can show him the ropes."

The game is being designed for seamless transition between modes, with no PvP lobbies if you move from playing alone to a multiplayer activity.

The Division launches for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on March 8th, 2016. A public beta will be available in December on Xbox One, with PC and PS4 players getting the chance to play early next year.
