Microsoft and Mojang have announced Minecraft Legends as a day one release on Xbox Games Pass during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.
This new game takes place in the Minecraft universe and will set the player on an “action strategy” adventure to unite the “overworld.” Villagers, Undead, beasts, and other enemies need to be conquered or charmed by the player in pursuit of a greater battle.
Against what? We’re not yet sure–perhaps the pigmen of the Nether. You can find the trailer below.

Developed by Mojang Studios and Blackbird Interactive, Minecraft Legends is coming in 2023 on Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, Windows, Steam, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
