In a new post on the PlayStation blog, Sony has provided notes for the upcoming patch that will offer new features for the original game. These will be free to all players and include: The League, additional co-op NPC hunters, and more. The League is described as “a band of Hunters who have taken an oath and are bound by a single purpose. By aligning yourself to The League, led by a mysterious figure in a constable’s garb and bucket helmet, you can assist other players online in the game and compete in The League’s online rankings leaderboard.”
The post also contains two new screenshots of one of the expansion’s new weapons, the Holy Moonlight Sword. Both can be seen below. Sony also says that they will soon be sending out vouchyer codes for an exclusive PS4 theme to players who hold Bloodborne’s Platinum Trophy. Sony also discussed the DLC’s details in a recent Q&A.
No specific date for the patch is given, although it should come before or on November 24th, which is when the The Old Hunters expansion releases. If you haven’t already bought the game, you can pre-order both the full game and the expansion for $50.
