BlizzCon, Blizzard’s annual convention for all things Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo, will open the doors to its main events this weekend, November 6-7 in Anaheim, California. In the events eSports arena, there’s already been a lot of action. In StarCraft II, eight out of sixteen players were eliminated. In World of Warcraft news, SK Gaming and Skill Capped EU advanced to Semi-Finals during Opening Week; Original Gangstarr and Do it for fun were eliminated. For Hearthstone, eight of the original 16 players were eliminated. Finally, in Heroes of the Storm competitions, Cloud9 and Natus Vincere advanced to Semi-Finals during Opening Week, and no teams were eliminated.
We’ve also recently learned that the first official Warcraft movie trailer release will coincide with the first day of BlizzCon.
