To say that fans of Stranger Things are teetering on the edge of a cliff right now would be a very fair thing to say. Stranger Things Season 4 dropped its first volume about two weeks ago and people can’t stop talking about it. Waiting for Vol.2 to come out on July 1st is going to be tough–and this after waiting years for Season 4 to come out in the first place!
However, even though it’s only about a month away now, fans can take heart that teasers for the second volume are coming. In fact, if you look above, you’ll see a glimpse of Vol. 2 right now. The trailer showcases the various dark entities that are coming to change everything when the final two episodes debut.
While we won’t spoil everything that happened in Vol. 1, you likely saw the trailer for the season and recall the humanoid monster talking to everyone. That would be Vecna, and as the teaser notes, he’s free thanks to Eleven. According to him, there’s nothing that can be done to stop what’s coming. Likely, he’s talking about his influence on the Upside Down and the outside world, as we see various clips of the Hawkins crew and other parties like Hopper trying to deal with everything going on. When Vol. 2 does come, it’ll certainly have an impact.
It’s true that the second part is only two episodes long, but they’re apparently the length of feature films, which means that each episode is going to be its own chunk of Stranger Things Season 4.
What is going to happen? No clue. But according to the Duffer Brothers, everyone’s life is on the line, and so you should absolutely expect the unexpected.
