Major Nelson has announced on his blog the four games coming to Xbox Games With Gold for November. The two Xbox One games are Pneuma: Breath of Life (normally $19.99) throughout November, and Knight Squad (normally $14.99) from November 16th-December 15th. Pneuma is a narrative story game of self-discovery. Knight Squad is a medieval-themed party game allowing up to 8 players to participate simultaneously. The Xbox 360 games available this month are DiRT 3 (normally $25.99)and Dungeon Siege 3 (normally $19.99).
Most interestingly, all Xbox 360 games available for free through the service will now be playable on Xbox One consoles, thanks to the backwards compatibility feature announced by Microsoft at E3 this year. The feature will begin to roll out on November 12th and will allow players using 360 and One consoles to play multiplayer 360 games together. Xbox 360 games played on Xbox One will still support the original game saves, add-ons, achievements, and Gamerscore, while touting the Xbox One features of Game DVR, screenshots, and Windows 10 streaming. Backwards compatibility will be available for free.
Pneuma: Breath of Life is available for free on Xbox Games With Gold November 1st. Knight Squad is available for free on the service starting November 16th.
