Thor: Love and Thunder Gets Review Release Date

June 7, 2022 by Todd Black

What will the people say?

Marvel is off to a great start this year thanks to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (which recently crossed $900 million at the box office), as well as releases like Moon Knight (which did fairly well in streaming numbers). Ms. Marvel is set to make a big splash tomorrow, followed by the upcoming release of Thor: Love and Thunder. The film has many people excited, and given the state of society today, many fans want to know what others think about it before they watch.

The first reactions to the film will arrive on June 23rd after the premiere in Los Angeles. After that, full reviews will begin appearing on June 5th, just a few days before the mainline release of the movie.

Natalie Portman will return as Jane Foster. Christian Bale will portray Gorr The God Butcher, a performance many are excited to see. Both are key elements to the story of the film and fans are praying that both Portman and Bale play their roles to the best of their ability.

For those unaware of the plot, here is the synopsis for the film:

“Thor: Love and Thunder finds the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But Thor’s retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.”
