Netflix has released a new behind-the-scenes video for their upcoming live-action adaptation of the long-running One Piece anime series. The show was first greenlit back in 2020 and news has been quiet ever since. However, thanks to Geek Week over at Netflix, fans are finally getting some idea of how the show will look.
The video is about two minutes long and shows off some of the massive sets the studio has built. Many fans are expressing shock as they see these iconic ships come to life in the real world. Fans also learn more about the series from Showrunners Steve Madea and Matt Owens, as well as Inaki Godoy who will be playing the main character, Luffy. Netflix will soon begin shooting in South Africa, and while there is still no release date for the series, it’s nice to see the project coming along.
