Konami's first major update for PES 2016 will be released on Thursday, October 29th.
The patch will update the game's team rosters so they're in-line with current real-world squards around the world. Real-world player forms will be featured and Konami says they'll be monitored and updated weekly. Newer kits are being added for many teams, including the entirety of the French Ligue 1, Spain's top two leagues, and Italy's Serie A.
Teams including FC Groningen, FC Utrecht, Galatasaray, Panathinaikos, Maccabi Tel Aviv, as well as Brazil’s Flamengo & Palmeiras and Argentina’s Independiente, Newell’s Old Boys, and Vélez Sarsfield have also been added.
UEFA Champions League and Asian Champions League-specific kits have been introduced as well.
More than 70 players have been updated using the game's PES ID system, which transfers skills, play-style, and likeness to the game.
The update's been planned for sometime.
